Me in 8 questions

Let’s tell something else, something different. Something about me:)
Well here we go, and don’t worry I won’t talk about celebrity crushes or party tricks:

1. What is your biggest dream?

When it comes to my work, I'd love to become the go-to person for creating family exhibitions. I want to make more space for families in museums, because I think it's so important to have fun together while getting to know each other in a different way.

That different way could be in a museum, a castle, a festival or any other cultural place. I love the idea of creating experiences that turn into memories people carry with them for years. When you spend time together, why not make it wonderful?

2. What does your logo represent?

If I had to create a logo that represents me, it would be this.

For a long time, I had no idea what I wanted to do. You know that feeling when you're sixteen and someone asks, "So... what do you want to study after graduation?" And you're just completely blank.

How was I supposed to know what I wanted to do for the rest of my life? And looking back now, I didn't even know that the work I do today existed. So knowing what I want to do became an adventure, a journey instead of a destination. To me, this feels like a sentence you never quite finish. A sentence that always leaves a little space at the end…

I like that space. It leaves room for curiosity. For things I don't know yet. For people I'll meet along the way. I never want to live a life where everything is already decided. I always want to leave room for dreaming, for new adventures. And that's also what my logo represents. It’s a journey, a not knowing, a form of play! It’s a bit like three dots at the end of a sentence…

What comes next? You tell me.

3. What is your favorite memory from 2025?

It has to be falling in love with Denmark. To be fair, 2025 gave me a lot of wonderful memories. But exploring Denmark has been something really special. Everywhere I went, I felt these little tingles. Every time I caught myself thinking, I think I'm going to live here one day...
And that feeling made me incredibly happy.

At the same time, I also got my dream job at an amazing museum in the Netherlands. I got to do everything I loved: developing exhibitions, creating educational programmes and working with visitors every day.
So saying goodbye wasn't easy.

I really, really wanted to move to Denmark, but I was also incredibly grateful for the job I had. It felt like two dreams pulling me in different directions.

I think 2025 taught me that sometimes you have to let go of something wonderful to make room for another wonderful adventure.

4. Why Studio Eline O

Well... as far as I know, there isn't anyone in Denmark doing exactly what I do. But to be fair, my Danish network is still growing. So maybe I'll have a different answer when I write another eight questions in 2027.

The reason I started Studio Eline O is because I want to make space for what I love to do the most.
Over the past few years, I've had the chance to work with some incredibly talented and wonderful people. They've taught me so much, and they continue to inspire me every day.

That's exactly how I want to work. Making wonderful things, with wonderful people. Studio Eline O gives me the freedom to do just that.

5. What makes you unique?

Although I understand this question, I have to admit it's not my favorite question... Because now I'm supposed to tell you why I'm unique. It feels a bit like bragging about myself.

Besides that, what I think makes me unique might not be the same as what you think makes me unique. So maybe we should just grab a coffee instead. Then you'll discover what makes me me. What makes me different. Both as a person and in the way I work.

6. Why Denmark?

Have you ever gone somewhere and instantly felt a spark of wonder?
I have that feeling quite often. New places are full of things to discover, and I love that. Everything is new, and every street, museum or little café makes me curious.

But with Denmark, that feeling stayed. I fell in love with the people, the museums, the landscapes and the food. (Oh... the cardamom buns!)

I just kept thinking, This is the place for me. This is where I want to be. This is where I want to keep discovering.

I also truly believe that Denmark has a lot to teach me. And hopefully, I have something to bring to Denmark too.

7. How would your friends and family describe you?

My friends and family are always very honest, so they don't only tell me the nice things. Apparently, I can be a little stubborn sometimes. But hey... nobody's perfect.

Luckily, they also think I'm nice.

I've often been told that I'm creative and a good listener. To be honest, writing that down feels a little awkward. People have said so many kind things to me over the years, but seeing them written down for others to read feels a bit strange.

I remember a colleague once telling me that I bring a lot of value to a team without needing to be in the spotlight. He said, "You're a professional, but you don't act like a know-it-all."
I knew exactly what he meant. He said: “You're not trying to be the loudest person in the room. You're there to create something meaningful together. Not to tell other people what to do or how things should be done. You're a team player. And that makes it so nice to work with you.”

To me, that feels like a really nice place to be.

8. What surprises people the most about you, when they get to know you?

Well... I think it's probably not something work-related. I remember playing a game during my studies where someone I had never met had to describe me. They had to guess what my hobbies were, where I was born, whether I had siblings, and if I was the oldest or the youngest in the family. You know... all those kinds of things.

It was so much fun to discover how someone else saw me. According to them, I was a classical pianist, incredibly organised, and the kind of person who always got perfect grades.

Honestly... I didn't mind the description. It just wasn't me at all.

I'm much more of an experimenter. I like trying things, thinking outside the box, falling over, getting back up again and seeing where curiosity takes me.

Besides that, I love playing basketball, surfing, animals (I really love animals!), reading, drawing, doing a bit of photography, or simply being outside.
