Eline O

Sometimes all you need is a little spark.
A spark of curiosity. A different perspective. A question that makes you look again.
Once that spark is there, something starts to happen. You begin to discover, wonder and connect in your own way.

That is what I hope to create in everything I make. Not by telling people what to think, but by inviting them to look differently. At art. At stories. At the world. And at each other. There is so much that can happen when we make space for curiosity.

With Studio Eline O, I help museums turn ideas into playful experiences that invite people to explore, wonder and connect.
I love working with museums from the very first idea onwards. Listening, asking questions, developing concepts and bringing them to life together. Whether it's a family experience, an exhibition or something that doesn't exist yet, every project starts with curiosity and grows through collaboration.
Because the best ideas are rarely created alone.

What do I do?

Every project starts with a question.
Sometimes it's a wish. Sometimes it's an idea. And sometimes it's still a little abstract.

It could be questions like…
- How can families spend more meaningful time together?
- How can visitors look differently at art, history or stories?
- How can a museum tell its story in a playful way?

I love questions like these. Not because I already have all the answers, but because I love discovering them together.

Every project starts by getting to know each other. I listen, ask questions and explore what makes your museum, story or audience unique. From there, I turn those insights into playful visitor experiences.

Sometimes that becomes a family trail, an educational programme or an interactive exhibition. Sometimes it's a visitor journey, project coordination or bringing together the right creative partners.

From the very first idea to the final installation, I stay involved throughout the process. Together, we make sure every decision contributes to an experience that invites visitors to wonder, explore and connect.

1. What is your biggest dream?

When it comes to my work, I'd love to become the go-to person for creating family exhibitions. I want to make more space for families in museums, because I think it's so important to have fun together while getting to know each other in a different way.

That different way could be in a museum, a castle, a festival or any other cultural place. I love the idea of creating experiences that turn into memories people carry with them for years. When you spend time together, why not make it wonderful?

The journey

I'm 25, so no, I don't have ten years of experience. But I have been lucky enough to work with inspiring museums, wonderful colleagues and visitors of all ages. Every place has taught me something different, and together they've shaped the way I work today.

Viewingcoach
LAM Museum

February 2021 – April 2025
At the LAM Museum, there isn't one right way to look at art. Every visitor brings a different perspective, and that's exactly what makes conversations so interesting. As a Viewing Coach, I created space for wonder, curiosity, laughter and philosophical conversations, helping visitors discover that looking at art starts with looking at yourself.
